At Shaire Productions, we create work based on the appropriateness for each project while keeping business and marketing objectives in mind. We’ve worked with a eclectic client list from start-ups to large global brands. We’re not limited by a single house style either. Rather, we’re able to work with varying art styles, accommodating diverse projects via Graphic Alchemy. We value extensive research, staying abreast of current marketing trends and creating strong concepts for our commercial projects.

Shaire Productions was developed in 2000 by Sherrie Thai, a passionate San Francisco Area native with a love for the fine arts. While she was studying at the Academy of Arts, she worked as a professional henna body artist and freelance designer, developing her artistic styles. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design, Sherrie worked for advertising/design firms on branding and print projects. She later became the Lead in-house Designer for several web social-networking and editorial companies, directing different projects from brand creation and redesign, web, UI/interaction, logos, print, press kits, mobile, tradeshow, advertisements, and fun promotional materials. Throughout the years, Sherrie has become a Jill-of-all-Trades Art Director, expanding her portfolio by constantly working on projects for a variety of industries such as technology, entertainment, food/drink, retail, music, medical/health and publishing. Sherrie is a Webby Award nominee for her website design work. She is also active in community and cultural art projects through illustration and photography. Her work has been showcased in design books, sites and art shows.

WHAT IS GRAPHIC ALCHEMY?

The creative process of finding a visual solution through research, experimentation, exploration and discovery. It is where old and contemporary ideas are mixed and distilled according to project and marketing parameters.

Through Graphic Alchemy, we explore the duality of history and modernism through visual juxtaposition.
