Samurai Merman is inspired by Instagram’s Mermay art challenge and this AAPI Asian Pacific Islander Month. I’ve also been watching Sirens, with some fierce mermaid/merman warrior creatures. Pairing the samurai with a shark body was only fitting as the strength of character is so prevalent.
