“Nature Horror Skull” is a dark surrealist print I loved creating, as the theme is a little darker, inspired by old alchemy illustrations and mystical folklore. I transferred the piece to wood and painted the edges a bit, with an overlay of acrylic. This item is available at my ETSY shop
“Forgotten Innocence” is another wood art transfer print based on a mixed media creation I did a little while ago. The inspiration stems from Day of the Dead and old Renaissance paintings. The wood print is now on my ETSY SHOP

“Skeletal Heart” is about love and death amidst the quiet beauty of nature. The colors are muted to highlight the subject matter and details of the illustration. Like many of my recent works, I’m greatly influenced by Victorian elements, steampunk, gothic surrealism, and nature.

“Momento Mori” is Latin for “Remember Death”, which speaks of the transient nature of objects and one’s mortality. I wanted to create a world which celebrates positivity and beauty in all forms, where memories of love exists beyond the confines of time. The original artwork was created with ink, graphite, some of my own photography, and a touch of digital coloring. PRINT AVAILABLE HERE
Here are some concept sketches for “Momento Mori”. I wanted to infuse some steampunk elements, but after the rough sketch, decided to add some roses to soften up the image. I’m pretty pleased with how this piece came out as it exhibits an emotional narrative.

“Forgotten Innocence” is a mixed media illustration of delicate skeletal cherubs holding on to the beauty and dangerousness of nature. This was inspired by macabre Victorian creations, mythology and the stunning Renaissance paintings of Italian masters.

Inspired by dark fantasy and watching too many episodes of American Horror Story and NBC’s Hannibal, “Excelsius Trio” crawled into my mind. Its ethereal quality captures the mysterious beauty and potential darkness of the supernatural. This Illustration was created with pen, graphite and digital coloring.

I’m super excited to have my “Gothic Skull Signature Headphones” showcased at the OrigAudio Marketplace. My skulls have a touch of dark romance, so hope you like the design 🙂 Not only am I proud to be part of the OrigAudio shop, but I love their innovative, cool gadgets like the Rock-It and Epishock, basically turning just about any surface into a speaker. Nifty!
“Gothic Skulls” is also available as a 8.5×11″ art print on Etsy to decorate any wall or space.

“Enduring Hope” is a skeletal homage to Mother Nature and is inspired by Tim Burton’s “Corpse Bride” and the upcoming Day of the Dead. In today’s pop culture, images of skeletons don’t hold the same horror and disdain as it has in the past and I wanted to explore that concept–where death is an integral part of life and there’s always beauty in the most mundane or misunderstood subjects. This piece was created with pen/ink and incorporates some of my photographic textures and backgrounds.
