Deathhead Moths & Skull, and Steampunk Scorpion taxidermy assemblage pieces are part of a gothic taxidermy art series (sustainably sourced) for the 25th Annual EDWARDIAN BALL on Jan 30-31,2026 at the Regency Ballroom, SF. Artwork: Scorpion Mandala

“Scorpion Mandala” is a mixed media piece with Black Forest scorpions, butterfly wings, findings, and shark teeth, topped off with enamel and acrylic paints. The background illustration was created with pen and ink, then digitally colored. The use of the gear symbol atop the branches is a juxtaposition of the natural and man-made world. The painting of the scorpions and collage of elements changes the scope of a ground-crawler to a fanciful creature of magick and wonder.

The piece will be displayed (and available for purchase) at the upcoming Edwardian Ball 🙂 So excited as it’s one of my fav events in the Bay Area.

Artwork: Gothic Unicorn

“Gothic Unicorn” was inspired a bit by the now-vintage 80s fantasy flick “Legend” (sappy love story with a unicorn and a very cool Diablo character). This was created in pen/pencil, photographic abstract textures and digital coloring.

The print will be displayed (and available for purchase) at the upcoming Edwardian Ball 🙂 So excited as it’s one of my fav events in the Bay Area.
