Am very grateful to have my b-boy photographs included in the “Word is Bond”, Hip Hop Exhibit at the Museum of Civilization @mcqorg (Sur Paroles, Musée de la Civilisation), Quebec, Canada, until November 2024. It explores the history of hip hop culture in Quebec through multi-media expressions, from visuals to audio.
The black and white photos are my vintage images taken at Cellspace breakdancing sessions, San Francisco (2008), when I explored the city more via documentary street photography, capturing subjects that inspired (for illustrative projects). The rest of the images are courtesy of the Museum (thanks Nathalie!), with shots of the exhibits and an opening night performance.

The insect specimens arrive from farms and aviaries of third world countries, eco-friendly efforts that provides educational resources, increases insect populations, and boosts local economies/communities while preventing deforestation (as local plants are needed to feed the insects so protection of their environment is paramount). In the wild, butterfly survival rate is only 5%, but with the farms, the survival rate is 95% and the females are released into the wild to make more beauties, continuing to enhance the populations.
