Pop Art Cat, Sheltered Art Show Benefit

I’m very pleased to be participating in the “Sheltered Art Benefit” show happening October 10, 2014 through November 14, 2014 (both online and offline) at the Davis Art Center.

Here is my art donation to the benefit, “Small Hearts in the Face of Pop” with 100% of the sale going to the following selected animal welfare nonprofit agencies: Alley Cat Allies, 4 R Friends, and Mow Wow Animals, via “Sheltered”. It is a signed print with metallic inks.

Sheltered seeks to raise awareness of the staggering number of homeless animals who will never find shelter. In addition to the art show, lectures, workshops, clinics, and other outreach activities are planned. The events coincide with Adopt a Shelter Dog and Adopt a Senior Pet months. The opening show and reception will be part of the 2nd Friday ArtAbout in Davis, CA.

Here are a couple of pics from the start of the Silent Auction I just participated in on April 19th at 111 Minna Gallery, with all proceeds benefiting the HACNS Community School in SF. It was a great time filled with laughter, awesome food (chicken and waffles!) and amazing people. Very proud to be have been a part of the event 🙂
